 Which Race is Better?Now this is my opinion, but I don't believe that there is a best race to use, or a best build to make. The game is intended to be for fun, creativity, and innovation. Definitely there are certain races that lend themselves to certain classes, but I have seen in my playing time, a Warforged Cleric that was pretty good and what was more important was that the person playing it was having a lot of fun and still does!
So only you know 'you,' and therefore the best build for you is what you might have the most fun with. Don't be afraid to experiment, and most of all figure that you might rebuild a toon or two so that you can get it just the way you want. Even after all the studying, you'll find that good old experience can help you the most in creating good builds.
Anyway...about Races: ========================================================================================== Drow:The Drow race is available after you earn 400 points of Favor which is a relatively easy these days. There is no doubt that the Drow is exceptionally good for certain classes like Rogue, Wizard, and Sorcerer because of their Base statistics which are:
STR 6, DEX 10, CON 6, INT 10, WIS 8, CHA 10 +28 ADDITIONAL PTS.
This means you can start a toon's stats at 20 on one of the given stats, DEX, INT, or CHA. This is an advantage definitely, but there are other ways to compensate for this benefit in other races. But for now, it is one of the strengths of the Drow Race.
Study the Drow Enhancements. They have dex bonuses, spell resistances, and other things that will assist you in certain builds.========================================================================================== Dwarf:DwarfElfHalflingHumanWarfordged[/indent]
